Whether its negotiating ridiculous vet bills, or organising shared custody, this WA premiere has something for both dog and cat people.

This double bill of romantic comedies by two of the Australia's best playwrights explores breakups, makeups and the pets that get caught in the middle of their human's drama.

The Dog by Brendan Cowell (Love My Way, Ruben Guthrie) follows ex best friends, Ben and Marcus and their separate trips to the park with their co-owned dog, Jerry Seinfeld. Filled with Cowell's flair for wit and banter, this play manages to touch at the heart of healing post breakup, burying grudges and the unexpected effect we can have on strangers we meet.

The Cat by Lally Katz (Neighbourhood Watch, Wentworth) explores the marriage collapse of Alex and Albert and the problems that the week on/week off custody arrangement cause for them and their ~~child~~ cat, Cat. Spanning a year in the life of two 30 somethings trying to move on with life whilst finalising a divorce, The Cat gleefully, surreally and at some points musically takes us on a journey of rebounds, terrible hobbies and what our pets truly think of us.

Last performed to sell out house at Belvoir St Theatre in Sydney, this will be the WA Premiere of this incredibly funny comedy pairing. Staged in Victoria Hall in Fremantle, The Dog/The Cat is the proud to be a part of the FTC Independent incubator initiative featuring JackRabbit Productions.
